Spanish media published information that anti-sex beds have arrived in the Olympic village of Paris, on which athletes will sleep during the Olympic Games scheduled from July 26 to August 11.
These 18,000 beds are 2.1 meters long and can hold up to 200 kilograms. They are made of recycled cardboard, the mattresses are made of polyethylene and after the Olympics they will be used for the production of plastic.
The decision is in line with the environmental standards previously established by the organizers of the Olympic Games. Each bed will have three pillows and each athlete will be able to choose the pillows according to their needs in a separate app.
These beds are called anti-sex beds because they are too weak for any kind of intimate relationship. This was determined based on experience from the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, when they were used for the first time.
