Earthquakes on the Albania-Greece border, powerful tremors are felt as far as Saranda

A 4.3 magnitude earthquake occurred yesterday evening around 23:30 in the area on the Albania-Greece border.

The epicenter of the earthquake was 5 kilometers north of Leptokaria and the focal depth was estimated at 42 kilometers, according to the Geodynamic Institute.

The earthquake was felt as far as the city of Saranda, while the tremors in the villages of Konispol were strong.

No material damage was reported.
