The Director of the State Police, Skënder Hita, met with children today, June 1, Children's Day.
Hita said that the police are close to the little ones, adding that the little ones are the future of the nation.
"You are the future of our country and the reason why we work every day for a safer Albania. Our wish is that you grow up happy, healthy, educated and always feel protected," Hita said in his message.

Dear children,
Today is your day, the day that reminds us adults how beautiful and pure the world is when seen through your eyes.
You are the future of our country and the reason why we work every day for a safer Albania. Our wish is for you to grow up happy, healthy, educated and to always feel protected.
As a parent and as the Director General of the State Police, I assure you that our employees will continue to be by your side, committed every day to your safety at school, on the streets, in the community, and on the internet, where care and protection are equally important.
Never hesitate to reach out to us when you need help, advice or support. A Police Officer is and will always be by your side, like a trusted friend.

Today, a group of children, students of the 9-year-old "1 Maji" school, were welcomed by the General Director of the State Police, who spoke with them, congratulated them on the holiday and gave them gifts prepared especially for them, for the June 1 holiday.
