After two days of battling the flames with thousands of emergency forces, the fire situation in the country appears more stabilized.
In Delvina, work continues to extinguish the flames in the hearth near the Blue Eye. The fire continues to be active on the heights of Sopot Mountain and in the villages of Pecë, Sirikat and Kardhikaq in Finiqi.
In the village of Kuç in Vlora, flames continue to burn in an area of bushes and forests. A fire has also appeared in the village of Brataj. Firefighting efforts are also continuing in Hormovë in Tepelena.
In Gramsh, firefighting efforts have continued since the early hours of the morning. The fire is located in a forest area in the villages of Kullollas and Kodovjat.
Around 200 firefighters, armed forces personnel and volunteers were assisted by a Czech and a Slovak helicopter.
Flames are also present in bushy areas in the villages of Mukaj and Sojnik but do not pose a danger to homes.
To extinguish the fire in Plasnik, Poliçan, where due to high intensity and strong winds the day before, homes were endangered and 20 residents were evacuated, ground forces were also assisted by 2 helicopters from the United Arab Emirates.
While the fires in the village of Vokopolë and between Poliçan and the village of Mbrakull are of low intensity.
Firefighters are monitoring the flames near the village of Val in Bulqiza. The fire in the territory of this municipality has developed in several foci, but their high intensity is in the forested area.
Fires continue to be active in the "Mountain of Bërzhitës" in the village of Ibë and in Vaqarr.
Firefighters managed to prevent the flames from spreading to the residential area, but due to the difficult terrain, they were unable to completely extinguish them.
Firefighting efforts are continuing in the villages of Spanesh and Kazie, in Rrogozhina.
A fire has also broken out in the Korab-Koritnik Natural Park, where the engagement of forces on the ground continues to isolate and completely extinguish the fire.
In the village of Gërmenj in Kolonjë, where a day ago there were explosions of ammunition located in the perimeter of the fire, operational forces are opening the road and safety belts against the fire.
Of the 57 fires reported in the last 24 hours across the country, 29 are still active.
