Journalist Agim Baçi commented on yesterday's debate in the Assembly between Lulzim Basha and Gazment Bardhi, where the latter threw accusations at the head of the DP, reminding him that he has taken 2 floors of a tower in Liqeni.
In an interview for Euronews Albania, Baçi emphasized that Bardhi should first clarify the accusations he has made against Sali Berisha, with whom he has joined the political cause. According to him, the opposition must first maintain morality.
"I am against any kind of rhetoric that is based on defamation and that is based on the idea that the opponent should get dirty. I was following Bardhi's statement yesterday, saying there at the crime tower, you have to take responsibility for what you say, the way Bardhi-Basha directed you, was a crime. This kind of language has to stop. Bardhi should first clarify the accusations he has against Berisha. It's normal to join a political force, but if you've been accused of trafficking in theft, conniving with crime, or accused of murder, you must first clear up these charges. If you say that then it was political rhetoric towards Berisha, why is it not political rhetoric today? The opposition has the moral card. A moral majority must be returned before a governing majority is returned," Baçi said.
