The father of the 2-year-old who lost his life in the state nursery No. 2 in Burrel denies that the child was born with heart problems, as reported by preliminary information. Odeta Dume: Mr. Hoti told them at least that the boy had problems, he was born with heart problems and this was the reason why he passed away on September 11th, the day that daycare centers and schools opened.
The father of the 2-year-old: The boy was really born prematurely, he even stayed in the incubator for a month, but I did two tests in Tirana with a scanner, with an echocardiogram. The doctors haven't told me anything, so this is a big lie.
Odeta Dume: Obviously, from all the visits you have made to your son since you gave birth to him, you have never learned from the doctors that he could have such a health problem.
Renato Hoti: No, no!
Odeta Dume: That day you took him to the kindergarten in the morning, how was his health?
Renato Hoti: Yes, his state of health was very good once, because the bride took him to 08:00 and a few minutes. I was at work for myself, I couldn't afford to take him. I also received a call from the kindergarten director at 11:15, the boy went straight to the hospital. There, when I went to the hospital, I found him dead.
Odeta Dume: From the statements given by the educators, you learned what had happened in that kindergarten, what concerns they had initially seen in the boy.
Renato Hoti: With the educator I spoke to, she was telling me that she was sleeping and woke up vomiting. She took him in her arms and showed me the vomit on her T-shirt.
Odeta Dume: So that morning when his mother sent him to kindergarten, he didn't even have a fever, nothing.
