Hoxha said that the whole event where 4 people were killed happened for 7 seconds and if it had continued, it would have been a massacre.
Journalist Artan Hoxha has left the premises of SPAK after almost three hours of questioning.
After leaving the SPAK, Hoxha stopped at a press conference as he stated that he was questioned by the special prosecutors as a person in the know about the January 21 file.
Hoxha said that he was asked about the much-talked about caste of communication between the guards. He stated that the material contains the communications that were made before the murder, during the murder and after the murders. According to the journalist, the communication between them is very cold, as if nothing had happened.
Hoxha said that the whole event where 4 people were killed happened for 7 seconds and if it had continued, it would have been a massacre. He adds that the communication was recorded on a dictaphone by someone who had access to the communication channel between senior officials.
"It is an audio recording with the orders of the commander of the Guard before the murders took place, during the murder and after the murder. All communications are heard on the radio, it is the channel used by the leaders of the Guard.
Through this tape it becomes clear that not only there was communication, but communications between the leaders of the guard, it is a routine communication that takes place between them, it is a 34-minute material. They are the communications at the time of the murders. The moment that people fixed when the murders happened, is only 7 seconds. Within 7 seconds the order to open fire is given and in the 7th second the order to stop is given. Senior leaders of the state who have communicated with the leaders of the Guard appear there. The prosecution will assess the validity of this material and what it will serve them for.
There it became clear that the murders were not only ordered, but the order came from above and the order was given with the greatest coolness. The order has been given to fire and the next order has come to stop. If the shooting had lasted more than 7 seconds, there would have been a massacre, not that the massacre didn't happen, but if it had lasted 30 seconds, it would have happened," said Hoxha.
According to the journalist, this is the last opportunity to unravel the tragedy of January 21.
"For me, if it doesn't clear up even this time, it won't clear up again. The evidence was destroyed the moment the incident happened. SPAK is now different, it is easier to call high officials. I have identified two others who were not part of the Guard, but this belongs to the investigations", he said.
We remind you that the Special Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office has called the journalist Artan Hoxha to testify in connection with the "January 21" investigation in the capacity of a person with knowledge.
He is expected to submit to this prosecution the audio-interception obtained from the radio communication between the Guard of the Republic of Albania on January 11, 2011.
The final goal of this whole movement is to get an answer as to who gave the order to shoot at the protesters, where as a result four people lost their lives.
This audio-interception obtained between members of the Guard and their subordinates has been made public to the media for almost a year, but it has not been submitted to the authorities, as the family members of Aleks Nika have requested that this material be submitted only to SPAK.
