3-year-old Brian Spahiu lost his life, Ina Xhaxho reacts: This is what keeps me

After the security measure was imposed, Ina Xhaxho reacted for the first time with a message on social media.

Involved in the tragic case where 3-year-old Brian Spahiu lost his life, Xhaxho shares her experience as a professional, expressing the pain, gratitude and mission she has followed in more than a decade of working with patients.

She says that "what keeps me alive are not the numbers, but the hearts I have touched."

Full reaction:

With soul and love

It has been more than 10 years since my professional journey has been with you. In every smile I have seen hope, in every tear I have felt pain, and in every hug – pure love.

I wasn't just your doctor. I was often the person who cried with you, rejoiced with you, hugged you in silence, and gave you courage when the world seemed heavy.

I have chosen this path not because it is easy, but because it is my calling. Because every time I see a mother with eyes filled with tears of gratitude, every child who smiles after treatment, every soul who finds peace again – I feel that I am where I belong.

There is no greater reward than touching a life with love and care.

I've often been told:
"Don't get so tired, don't get emotionally charged, be like everyone else — take it easy, treat cases like dental tourism..."

But I don't know how to be different. I don't know how to live without a soul in what I do.

What keeps me alive are not the numbers, but the hearts I have touched. It is the prayers and gratitude of parents who see in me a ray of hope.

Today, after more than 2,000 patients, I feel only gratitude.

To everyone who has believed in me, to everyone who has given me a piece of their soul. You have made me a stronger, gentler, and more humble person.

And above all…
A heartfelt thank you to my Professor, the man who, with 47 years of experience under his belt, has been the light that has guided me every day.

This is my mission.
Not just a job.
Pure love. Pain. Hope. Life.
