47,000 euros, notepads and mobile phones, it is revealed what was found in the apartments of Ilir Beqaj and other detainees

This morning, the former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, was arrested in connection with SASPAC funds.

The police and BKH have carried out checks at the EU funding agency, SASPAC. There were also controls in the apartments of the arrested and their offices.

According to SPAK, documents and notebooks with notes, sums of money of approximately 47,000 euros and 700,000 ALL, telephones of interest to the investigation, etc., were seized.

Investigations continue in relation to the collection and provision of evidence for other persons involved in these actions, as well as for other criminal facts related to the checks carried out on December 28, 2023.
