Looking at yesterday's fatal accident, in which four young people lost their lives, road traffic expert Islam Qibini emphasized that legislation should be reviewed and called for administrative measures to be tightened in case of violations.
"Most accidents occur due to speeding. Legislation and administrative measures should be made stricter. The provision in the articles of the road code should be removed so that the driving license is not suspended but converted into a fine. It should be seen whether the driver who drives 30 km/h more should have his driving license suspended and there should be checks during the late hours of the night, especially for those who consume alcohol ," he told "AbcNews".
For expert Softa, changes need to be made not only to the road code but also to the infrastructure, especially after leaving a gas station.
"The highway code has it defined and there is a limitation for those who have just received their license on motor power. Not only the highway code must change, but the infrastructure too, because the exit from a road to enter the main road, the return is short. There are gas stations that leave immediately," he added.
