The death penalty, another issue that divides the values and positioning of a society in relation to life, death and legislation, has been put in the focus of citizens' opinion by Barometer in Euronews Albania.
As for other phenomena or actions that define our values as a society, in the last questionnaire 1000 interviewees were also faced with a special question related to the death penalty.
To the question "Is the death penalty completely justified or not at all justified?", citizens answered 63.4% with no justification.
The rest of the interviewees justify the death penalty, but they are still the minority compared to those who consider the death penalty completely unjustified.
