At today's meeting of the High Prosecutorial Council to elect the new head of SPAK, prosecutor Adnan Xholi was faced with a sensitive question related to his confrontations with organized crime.
Asked by a member of the KLP: " You have faced organized crime gangs since the beginning of your career, how has this affected you personally and the quality of your life? ", Xholi seemed touched as he lowered his head and was silent for a few moments.
He then replied briefly: " My family and I are no longer the first! "
His statement comes as evidence of the dangers and challenges faced by prosecutors trying to combat organized crime, demonstrating Xhol's personal commitment to justice and respect for his family's safety.
This was just one moment from a series of statements that Xholi made today, during the presentation of his platform, to the members of the KLP.
He explained his vision for SPAK, his commitment to gathering evidence before every arrest, and the importance of exemplary leadership for other prosecutors.
