The Tirana police arrested a 48-year-old man after he is accused of being involved in acts of violence during the last two protests in front of the municipality building.
The person detained for the charges of "Disturbance of public peace", "Violation of the rules on explosives and incendiary substances", and "Destruction of property by fire" is a citizen of SB, 48 years old, a resident of Krujë, according to the announcement of the Tirana police.
The last protest in front of the municipality of Tirana was the one on May 7, when Molotov bombs were thrown at the building.
In order to hold the protest, the Alliance for the Protection of the Theater takes permission from the police, while at the head of this protest are the leaders of Sali Berisha's Reestablishment DP group and the Freedom Party, who also demand the resignation of the mayor Erion Veliaj.
The protest was also attended by Argita Berisha, the daughter of former Prime Minister Berisha under house arrest for corruption for the 'Partizani' affair, where she was among the first to appear at the rally with a T-shirt printed 'free the opposition leader'. also confirmed the true purpose of the protest, for weeks it has been calling for the release of Sali Berisha.
