Activist Ervin Goci has commented on the barbaric violence against lawyer Sokol Mêngjesi. He said that the property for which lawyer Mêngjesi was violated was given for construction by Sali Berisha when he was prime minister.
He adds that if this space was public property today, this attack on the lawyer would have been avoided as it would be compensated according to the law.
"The property for which the lawyer was hit on the head is on a land that used to be part of the Lake Park, so it could not be built on. It was the former Prime Minister Berisha who removed in 2010, with VKM, the part under the dam, from the space of the Park to give it to the Lubi.
If that space were public property today, no one would be sold as a bribe to the kullufis, they would be compensated according to the law.
