
The Supreme Court has upheld the sequestration measure against several properties of the strategic businessman Pëllumb Gjoka, arrested in the context of the "Metamorfoza" operation.
390,000 meters of land on the beach of Velipoja have been seized from the businessman at the request of the Special Prosecutor's Office, and it is suspected that these areas were obtained through forgery.
While SPAK did not include in the seizure request other assets in his possession or those of his relatives, but said that the investigations continue. Pellumb Gjoka is known as the owner of a number of properties and facilities with service, hotel or gambling functions. The land was seized after allegedly falsifying documents to acquire it.
Pëllumb Gjoka is accused of being part of a structured criminal group that is accused of a series of criminal offenses ranging from "Premeditated murder", "Abuse of duty" to "Trafficking of narcotics", in cooperation in the form of "Structured Criminal Group" ", "Creating conditions for murder" etc.
The Supreme Court did not even accept the appeal from the escape of Preke Kodra for changing security measures, accused of being part of the same criminal group but who has not yet been arrested and has been announced as an international wanted man.
