The Supreme Court has upheld the 2022 'Appeal' decision that upheld the 21-year prison sentence of Izet Haxhi for the murder of MP Azem Hajdari in 1998.
In the consultation room, judges Ilir Panda, Albana Boksi and Medi Bici overturned the appeal of Izet Haxhi, who requested the annulment of the decision and the return of the case for a retrial with another panel of judges, for serious violations of the procedural rules of the trial or, alternatively, the declaration of innocent.
We remind you that Haxhia never accepted the charge of murdering the deputy of the DP, Azem Hajdari.
