Analyst Frrok Çupi says that Enkelejd Alibeaj, who left the DP Parliamentary Group, has understood that with Sali Berisha, there can be no Democratic Party.
In an interview for "Tirana Live", Çupi said that the Democratic Party does not work with Berisha

It creates a chance for the DP, or some kind of envy in the DP, if the DP is in the mood yesterday to accept the middle line. It endangers the mandate. It is questioned if there are democrats in the membership, if there is a PD that can exist. But the DP cannot have independent thought. There are very big risks. PD has a history of lynching these independent people, they almost took them to the ropes, but they didn't. It is abandonment for Basha, but it is disagreement with Berisha. He has understood what Sali Berisha is. Alibeaj, it is understood, is very harsh with his anti-communist behavior, but he is also against Sali Berisha, because he understood that there can be no DP with Sali Berisha.
There is another merit, he kept the DP when Basha was missing, he kept it with his spirit through his teeth, without making mistakes, he did not make concessions in the policy towards the USA. It depends on the personalities. PD has started to lynch independents, immediately after its establishment. There are no values left. The problem of PD is not even Sali Berisha, Sali Berisha no longer exists, the problem is the missing individuality, the benefit to the country, the mea culpa to the country", he emphasized.
