Meteorology Lajda Porja has made a summary of the weather situation during today and the following days.
Porja said that today and tomorrow it is expected that there will be high temperatures in our country.
According to her, temperatures in Albania during today and tomorrow are expected to reach 41 degrees Celsius. Meteorology explained that on Saturday and Sunday, a temperature drop of 2-3 degrees Celsius is expected.
Meterologia Lajda Porja: "Today the temperatures in Albania reach up to 41 degrees Celsius. Even in mountainous areas, temperatures are high. Tomorrow Shkodra, Tirana and Fieri will record high temperatures. It is a situation that passes quickly. On Saturday and Sunday, temperatures will drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius. The rest of June will be 36-37 degrees Celsius, so today and tomorrow are expected to be the highest temperatures of the month. The African heat is not expected to pass immediately. Some cities will experience tropical nights like Saranda, Vlora, Fieri. If we compare with June, they are extreme temperatures, since such values are recorded in July or August. Saharan dust will be present for several days.
Kosovo is experiencing high temperatures of 36 degrees Celsius, while in North Macedonia there will be extremely high temperatures of up to 42 degrees Celsius. In the shade, temperatures go up to 40 degrees Celsius, while in the sun they will be up to 43 degrees. Sunday will have isolated showers. On Monday, there will be isolated showers in certain areas. After that, high temperatures will return to us, but not at these levels".
