The High Prosecution Council has appointed Anita Jella as a prosecutor in the Special Anticorruption Structure.
Jella received a 9-year mandate.
We remind you that on May 9, 2018, Anita Jella was temporarily appointed head of the Durrës Prosecutor's Office.
The selection of Jella comes after the verification that the Special Prosecutor's Office has done and submitted in the final report to the KLP.
The Special Commission for the verification of the figure, consisting of 2 prosecutors of SPAK, a judge of GJKKO, a financial employee of SPAK and an agent of BKH has assessed that Jella fulfills the conditions to exercise the duties as prosecutor of SPAK.
She has successfully passed the control for the wealth and purity of the image and there is no legal obstacle weighing on her to prevent her promotion. We remind you that Anita Jella was appointed head of the Durrës Prosecutor's Office since May 9, 2018.
