Apartments, land, shops and bank accounts, the Prosecutor's Office of Vlora seizes 13 million euros of assets

The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Vlora has seized property worth 13 million euros during 2022.

According to the data, the total amount comes from preventive seizures imposed on 33 real estates in total in 2022.

The seized assets are mainly real estate, apartments, land, olive groves, shops and bank accounts.

It is known that 32 criminal proceedings and 21 property investigations were registered, so 7 criminal proceedings with 8 defendants were sent for trial.

"Regarding the criminal offense of "Cleaning the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity", provided for by Article 287 of the Criminal Code, for the year 2022 it turns out that 32 criminal proceedings and 21 property investigations have been registered. While 7 criminal proceedings with 8 defendants have been sent for trial." - announces the Prosecutor's Office.
