Investigative journalist, Artan Hoxha, commenting on SPAK's investigations after the arrest of acting mayor Jorgo Goro and some of his subordinates for the land where the resort of former socialist deputy Artan Gaçi is being built, stated that the investigation should start from above, from Tirana.
"All these people that we have under house arrest and prison arrest, except for Stavri Mëhilli, who was found to make the papers, even from the investigations carried out by the SPAK that we are talking about an entire asset, it has not turned out that they have made for profit.
Then why did they do it, who benefited?
It is not the case that you are dealing with a villager with the mayor, who bribed the latter and he completed the documentation. He gave the bribe in land or money. This thing has been directed from Tirana and what we ask from SPAK is to start it from up here, then "lightning" will fall down there. So it should start from here", said Hoxha.
