Former prosecutor Ervin Karanxha said that Nesti Angoni, the person who denounced Erion Veliaj, is a close person to the mayor.

On the show "Quo Vadis", Karanxha stated that the whistleblower is a person in power and an insider, because he knew every accurate information regarding Erion Veliaj's actions and movements.

"Nesti Angoni is a relative of Veliaj and is in power. Veliaj has an insider. The letter was accurate, with accurate data. According to the law, this anonymous report cannot be used. Whether it is from customs entries or taxes, they are accurate and only an insider knows them," the former prosecutor said.
