Lawyer Edmond Petraj has commented on the movements taking place within the Democratic Party.
He said that internationals could stand behind Salianja and Alimehmet. According to him, there would be no movement within the DP if there was no international support.
The lawyer emphasized that this is also known by Sali Berisha, who cannot accept it, which is why he also had his outburst in the media, making accusations against Salianj and Alimehmet.
"All that is happening with the Salianji-Alimehmeti movement shows that they have international support. In my opinion, if they didn't have it, it wouldn't be like this. Even the language used by Berisha shows that he knows something, that's why he reacted like that," said lawyer Petraj in "Quo Vadis".
Former Democratic MP Ervin Salianji said that the Democratic Party is not in its best condition. According to him, there are several events that have occurred in this country, emphasizing the issue of Belinda Balluku, and said that the party's reaction has been apathetic.
"The concern is that there is no proper reaction. The country had to be shaken up, sir. For this case, both big and small had to be shaken up. You have seen for smaller cases of corruption what has happened now in Bulgaria, what has happened in Romania. We are in conditions where the DP has no reactive power or not," said Salianji.
He emphasized that the day after Balluku was indicted, the Democratic Party decided to analyze the elections, while underlining that he was among the few who called for a protest.
"I am saying that there is no power to react. I am saying that I requested at the Presidency meeting the day the defendant [Belinda Balluku] was arrested, the next day the DP decided to conduct an analysis of the election theft or the election loss. That day I was among the few who requested that we protest strongly. It was discussed when I requested the protest. After I requested it, the protest was discussed. I requested it," said Salianji.
