A few days ago, a citizen lost his life in the Court of Tirana, where he had gone to be informed about a trial against him. The victim, Ilia Drini, a professor of martial arts, allegedly died of a heart attack.
Ndue Pjetra, a lawyer invited to the show "Good Morning Albanians", said that the Courts drag out the judicial processes of clients.
He emphasized that only those who give money solve the problem of the judicial process, adding that it took years for others.
Among other things, he said that there are clients who won the trial after losing their lives.
"They created the corruption themselves, it is not that the corruption came out. Only those who entered the money solved the problem of the judicial process, the others have been waiting since 2008. There are clients who pass away, and have not received the property. There are clients who have won lawsuits after losing their lives. Where should we take the money now? Clients win the trial at first instance, but they have to wait another 4-5 years in the Court of Appeal. It's horror. 7 years of a judicial process", he said.
