The National Agency of Civil Protection announces that rain and snow are expected to cover several regions of the country this evening and the next day.
" Rainfalls are expected to affect some parts of our country ," the announcement states.
The forecast by the experts of the Institute of Geosciences 'IGJEO' shows that this afternoon (Sunday, the 14th) and tomorrow (Monday, the 15th) moderate to locally intense rainfall is expected in the regions of Shkodër, Kukës, Dibër, Lezhë and Tirana.
- Average rainfall is expected in Durrës district, while weak to locally moderate rainfall is expected in other districts.
- In Shkodër and Lezhë counties, rainfall is expected to be accompanied by thunderstorms.
- In the mountainous areas in the North and Northeast of the country, at heights above 800m above sea level, precipitation will be in the form of snow.
" At this time, the municipalities must mobilize operational structures and keep the tools ready to help the citizens in cases of need. We remind you that safety is a priority.
