Analyst Frrok Çupi says that the Democratic Party must be cleansed of the remnants and, according to him, this political force has turned into a front against the USA.
In an interview for 'ABC News', Çupi said that Lulzim Basha failed to expel Berisha, while the new political group, "Djathtas", has done something similar, declaring that it will not cooperate with the former prime minister.
" The entire PD is a front against the USA and in favor of Berisha. Now, Albania has an opposition that is not Sali Berisha. Berisha is not the opposition. Set a name, a phone number where embassies of allied countries can call. In all their political upheavals, they had no one to say a thing to. The opposition did not have a phone number for the world. Imagine the political desert left by Sali Berisha.
If these are the unchangeable, we have no reason to hope. In reality, the right in Albania does not mean that it does not have great traditions, but it has created, through anti-communism, a kind of essence of the right, which turned into the left. The right, if it existed, existed long before 1912, that is total ignorance. It had to be the party of the future. Surely, it is a slip that will be corrected along the way ", he emphasized.
