The Directorate of Prisons of Albania has officially announced the approval of a 5-day leave for Fredi Beleri, so that the latter can take the oath as a member of the European Parliament. During the 5-day leave, Beleri must communicate every day with the Clomisariat of Himara.
Beleri will return at the end of his leave, which expires on July 20, 2024, to continue his sentence in Fier prison.
" After the request of the convict Dhionisis (Alfred) Beleri for a paid leave in order to follow the works in the European Parliament on July 15-20, 2024 in Strasbourg, referring to the Order of the General Director no. 733 prot, dated 04.06.2024 "On the composition and functioning of the Monitoring Board for the granting of special and compensatory leave for prisoners in IEVP" compensatory leave was granted to the convict Dhionisis (Alfred) Beleri from July 15 to July 20 2024. After the end of the five-day leave, the convict Alfred Beleri will return to the prison of Fier to continue serving his sentence, according to the decision of the GJKKO", announces the Directorate of Prisons.
