The president of the Association for Real Estate, Reinaldo Pipiria, has stated that there are some anomalies in the decision on the revaluation of properties.
Pipiria made the comments in the "Review" show on Euroneës Albania, where he said that if we have a house built before 1992, it is allowed to be sold for up to 550 euros per square meter.
But according to him, it is illogical if the person who has that old house and who has invested there, should continue to be taxed at 15% for it.
"According to the instruction, you are given the right if your house is depreciated not to sell it, so that it is not called an illegal sale or a heavy fiscal burden according to the reference price. If we have a house of 82 behind the American Embassy.
The reference price is 1100 euros per square meter we assume. This 82nd house, because it was built before 1992, is allowed to be sold for up to 550 euros per square meter if it is not worth that much. The law means you have the right to use the 1 percent. But if I invested in this house, which is from 1982, should I continue to be taxed at 15% for this?", said Piperia.
