This is what the mayor of Shkodra, Benet Beci, said after the tributes in honor of the Grand Master, Zed Deda.

Mayor Beci says that the great artist Zef Deda will always remain an inspiration for generations who has always given us great humor.
"It is a great loss. We convey an extraordinary respect to the entire city, but I believe also the entire Albanian nation. A very dimensional artistic figure. With Zef Deda, we have grown up a whole generation in holidays, in joys, but also in days of difficult times, he gave us a smile. He will be remembered for many roles, he will be remembered as the "Albanian Chaplin", but in fact the generations have a lot to remember. Today we pass him on with pain, but I think as a legend , who will always remain with a smile in the memory of the city. He will remain an inspiration for generations as an icon who has added to the honor of Shkodra and who has always given great humor. We have a duty to carry this legacy forward. , this history, this pride that has given the city a great name like Zef Deda," Beci told the media.
