The snow whitens Kukës, the thickness reaches 20 cm in some areas

Kukësi was engulfed this morning by heavy snowfall, which has whitened all the administrative units, creating layers of ice on the road, and as a result, there have been difficulties in the circulation of vehicles.

Vehicle movement is being done with chains and winter tires on roads such as Kukës-Peshkopi, Kukës-Shishtavec or Krumë-Kam-Tropojë.

The thickness of the snow at the highest points of these roads has exceeded 20 centimeters, while contracting companies are cleaning the snow.

So far, no road or village blockages have been reported, although the snow density is high.
