Kreshnik Spahiu says that the new Criminal Code should be approved through a referendum by the people, which, through direct voting, cements the foundations of the new code.
In an interview with Report TV, Spahiu proposed that an article be added to the new Criminal Code for prison sentences for all tourism operators, all hotel and restaurant owners who discriminate against Albanians from Kosovo, Macedonia or the diaspora.
" For weeks now, Albania has been concerned about a blow that tourism is taking, due to mistreatment, manipulation, theft, misservice, major flaws, and it has rightly been concluded that patriotic tourism has been killed."
I also have a list of complaints that have asked me for legal advice from Albanians from Kosovo or the diaspora who feel discriminated against, are not accepted in hotels in southern Albania. As soon as they find out that they are from Kosovo, Macedonia, that they are immigrants, that they are from the diaspora, they are told that we do not want Albanians.
Discrimination in many countries around the world is a criminal offense.
"If Albania's tourism is being destroyed and could ruin the country's economy, a criminal offense could be foreseen for all tourism operators, for all hotel and restaurant owners who discriminate against Albanians from Kosovo, Macedonia or the diaspora ," Spahiu said.
