What is the state of health of Janullatos? The Orthodox Church explains why it was transported to Athens

The Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania reacted today on the health condition of Archbishop Anastas Janullatus.

He was sent yesterday for treatment in Greece and according to the Church, his condition is stable and that he is being followed by specialist doctors at the "Evangelization" hospital in Athens.

" His Beatitude, Archbishop Anastas, was hospitalized for several days in one of Tirana's hospitals. His condition appeared to be generally stabilized, but for more specialized diagnostics, the doctors suggested that he be sent abroad and yesterday, on 3.01.2025, he was sent to Athens.

According to the statement of the doctors of the Evangelization Hospital, in Athens, where he is being treated, despite his history of various diseases, his health condition is stable and is being followed by specialist doctors ", the announcement states.
