The strong statement of the journalist: In the Greek state, Albanians have been

Today, official Athens accuses Albania of violating Fredi Beleri's right to the presumption of innocence, but Greece has allowed trials with serious legal violations against Albanians.

In one case, an Albanian citizen named Afrim Rexha was kept in a cell for 11 months even though he had served his sentence. He was released only after his case became public.
The father of a minor child received no compensation for wrongful imprisonment.

"For human rights, here we have Albanians who are being punished without a translator, without a lawyer and even without being present," said the journalist, Shpëtim Zinxhiria.

After the fraud that the Greek institutions themselves have done with the social security by "harvesting" a lot of income from immigrants, in 2003 another scandal related to the fraud was discovered.

Albanian detainees were punished by the court of Thessaloniki, denying the right of translation.

This is because the court's official interpreter for the Albanian language, Niki Vavakula, did not know Albanian. Thus dozens of immigrants were sentenced illegally, denying you the right to protection.

The same situation continues even today when Albanians turn to different lawyers' offices to obtain documents. Many of them promise that they will do it with regular documents, when in fact it is impossible since the immigrants have not entered Greece in a regular way.
