The colossal damage caused by the flood of rain in Vlorë is expected to initiate the initiation of a criminal file in the prosecutor's office of the coastal city.

It is learned that the reason for the initiation of the investigation is the numerous reports in the media, where the citizens of Vlora have expressed that they have made requests for the cleaning of the sewers, but no one has listened to them in the institutions.
The verifications are expected to start this week, seizing the documentation and regulations of the municipality, but also the questioning of the persons who have the duty to maintain and take care of the water management system in the city of Vlora.
Many of the works, such as cleaning and systematization of canals and drainage wells, are reported as completed but in reality nothing has been done and nothing has worked.
In addition, one of the hydrovores that serves to remove water has not worked, as well as an entire system of underground sewers, which for a long time has not been cleaned by the municipality of Vlora.
Although the rainstorm ended 3 days ago, the presence of water and mud continue to be present in many neighborhoods of Vlora, where apartments and garages of buildings continue to be flooded./Ora News
