Activist Edlira Çepani commented on the support the US is giving to the Special Prosecution Office.
On Thursday, US envoy VanHorn met with Klodian Braho and Joni Keta, the new leaders of SPAK and BKH. According to Çepan, the US will continue to assist SPAK in targeting the untouchables.

On Thursday, the US Charge d'Affaires, Nancy VanHorn, went to SPAK, where she met with the new heads of SPAK and BKH.
She has decided to speak in the words of Marco Rubio: "We will confront the drug cartels wherever they are."

The President’s primary duty is to ensure the national interest and national security of our people. Together, we stand united in the fight against international crime ,” the US embassy announced.
