After the SPAK proceedings, the Durrës prosecutor's office has launched an investigation regarding the chaos caused today in the Mujahideen camp in Manez.
It is known that the prosecutor of Durres, Sokol Nishani, is investigating the Mujahedin's claims of violence by the police. The prosecutor's office also informs that they are also investigating the police's claims of violence by the mujahedin. Therefore, many people are expected to be interrogated in connection with this event.
Meanwhile, the police director Muhamet Rrumbullaku said in a press conference that the persons involved in the attack on the police have been identified. He further added that restraining orders will be signed for those who used violence and the leaders of the camp who did not cooperate.
While the Minister of the Interior, Bledi Çuçi, has called their violence and resistance against the state police unacceptable.
In a press conference related to the case, Çuçi added that MEK members were taken over by the Albanian state only to be sheltered and that they are not allowed to carry out political organizations.
