The elections are over, but Sali Berisha and the DP are claiming vote theft on May 11. For lawyer Romeo Kara, the head of the blue headquarters is unchangeable and will hold the party hostage until the end, with people like Flamur Noka and Albana Vokshi, who he said ironically that "they deserve to be Berisha's successors."
Invited to the 'Studio Live' show today, he told Report TV that "the only thefts that occurred in the elections were those of the Democratic Party's primaries." As for the new parties, he underlined that they were a failed experiment, where all 4 leaders should follow Shehi.
Regarding Berisha's secret lobbying contracts, he said that there are 4 of them and not two, which will be revealed later. Kara says that the leader of the DP 'neither listens nor looks with one ear and one eye' to act like Dashamir Shehi by resigning from the party.
" I don't think Sali Berisha sees with one eye and hears with one ear to get advice, and even more so from Dashamir Shehi who resigned today. If you look at Berisha and the contract with LaCivita and the American company, a two-year contract, it was pre-prepared, he knew that it would affect the outcome of the elections. In my opinion, this is an SP-PD electoral product because they passed it together, and they also have the same counters and commissioners. But when Berisha saw the defeat, he came out and said that he does not accept it, even though he lost in democratic areas up to Kukës or Has. It is not easy to steal so many votes. The two parties have built a big wall. The one who is being accused of stealing the elections and the other who is dealing with the swamp owl, and the other who is in prison for so many years and who have captured the system ," the lawyer said for Report TV.
For him, the citizens chose to vote for the lesser evil and not take steps back, returning to Berisha and his loyalists.
" So people have chosen to vote for the lesser evil, rather than returning to Berisha non grata, with criminal problems, unwanted by his family and who should be in prison, or to go side by side with people who have no civic ethics like Flamur Noka and Albana Vokshi, to threaten Albanians, to gnash their teeth and you take these people for granted, and you win the elections with them. Or a judge removed from vetting, Gjin Gjoni, the millionaire former prosecutor with properties, who put them on the lists, and the Albanians chose not to take a single step back. Or you have on the other side those who put pressure on SPAK as the Minister of Justice. They are trying to undo that small hope of Albanians, for justice reform. The alternative has been, "it is better to stay here than to take a step back ", he continued.
