Claudio Prendi, who was executed at midnight in the Xhamllik area of the capital, is the son of former judge Fran Prendi.
Fran Prendi has served as a judge in the former Court for Serious Crimes since 2006, a position he continued for a year in the Special Court. In November 2020, he left the justice system with resignation, without passing the vetting filters.
His signature as a leader is kept by dozens of court decisions, among which he against Emiliano Shullazi and his group in 2018, as well as against Salvatore Lettizia, a member of the Italian Camorra, for the massacre with three victims on the boulevard "Zogu I" in in 2015.
Claudio Prendi was shot with a volley of bullets, while he died in the hospital as a result of his injuries. Meanwhile, a burnt car was found in the Farka area, which is suspected to belong to the perpetrators.

Around 01:05, in the vicinity of Farka Lake, an "Audi" type vehicle was found burning.
A special investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is continuing the work for the complete clarification of the circumstances of the event, its full legal documentation, the identification and capture of the suspected author/s", the police informs.
