The head of Acromax, Aldor Nini, has stated that TikTok is not a more problematic social network than other social networks that are commonly used.
He explained that TikTok, like other social networks, has filters for problematic videos or addresses opened by minors under the age of 13.
" From the monitoring of thousands of videos that we make every day, the problem is both in the You Tube system that has shorts, both in Instagram with realelsa and in TikTok in the part of videos that do not come from people we follow but those that TikTok casually suggests. Like other platforms that ban problematic videos, TikTok has filters; in the second 3 months of 2024, TikTok has banned 14 thousand problematic Albanian videos, automatically. According to statistics, these 14,000 videos represented 91 percent of problematic videos, 9 percent were not caught automatically, what we see is that 9 percent ," he said on the Now show in Euronews Albania.
