Analyst Denis Dyrnjaja has commented on the Berisha file in SPAK and the future of the opposition now with its leader as a defendant.
Dyrnjaja, referring to Berisha's 500-page file, says that there are no surprises and that the court's decision is now only awaited.
'I was not surprised. Nothing to be surprised. The news will be the decision of the court. After searching for scoops, after interest to awaken the thirst for information, we went to the doors of SPAK. It is one of the instruments that forms the puzzle of justice. I believe that it would be hasty to interpret the issue. Let's wait for what the court and justice will say. I believe it will be a long process. On the other hand, it will be costly for Berisha as a politician since the 2025 elections are. There will be a deadlock for Berisha's presence and it will be an obstacle for the DP, the opposition, which thinks that it will win the 2025 elections with the president in charge.'
As for a possible decision of Berisha regarding his political career, Dyrnjaja emphasizes that Berisha himself will sink the PD.
I don't think he would have made a decision today, this would have happened before. If PD wants it, it should have taken other steps. DP will have the fate of Berisha and what Berisha has written in the history of her fate. If Berisha buries himself, he will also bury the PD. Some have lined up on Berisha's side, did someone else say those words? They try to imitate the political being that Berisha has. They try to like Berisha.'
Furthermore, Dyrnjaja pointed out that in Albania they only try to please the president and there is no new political mentality.
'They have entered a path, although it has a predetermined end in my opinion. Berisha has closed the cycle of his own politics. PD's hostage taking, but it is a large part of the opposition electorate. The country has no strong alternative to rival Rama. That young girl, who Rama told her that you will be president, she said that Rama has forgotten herself and is working for the country. Everyone wants to catch the attention of the mayor. Things are happening, Enveri is waking us up. The cult of the individual has never died in Albania. It is also in an office director, anywhere, in a big political party. We cannot get rid of the cult of the individual. Even the new generation has sinned with this form. The journey is rolling. It needs evolution. Political mentality. You have to open your mind," he said.
