The '5D' file, Reestablishment protests in front of the Municipality of Tirana

A group of citizens as well as representatives of the Democratic Party are protesting today in front of the Municipality of Tirana.

The state police has taken measures for the progress of the protest, sending an increased number of officers to the field. It seems that the officers have been equipped with all the necessary tools, including spacesuits and glass shields.

This protest reaction comes after the most recent corruption scandal in the municipality, as a result of which the protesting citizens demand the resignation of Erion Veliaj.

As for the protest, it is learned that after it, the citizens will move to the Special Prosecutor's Office to inform them of their request for the handcuffing of the mayor.

The protest was organized by the Alliance for the Protection of the Theatre, while the opposition parties and citizens joined it.
