Police file/ How the cabins in Theth were camouflaged, the 'owner'

Journalist Anila Hoxha has secured the file explaining the reasons of the Shkodra Prosecution for not initiating criminal proceedings regarding the placement of 10 silos in Theth.

According to the file, these silos were located on the property of citizen Lene Prroni.

The latter, after a report from IMT Shkodër, the Shkodër Police Commissariat that the silos were placed without the relevant permits, has stated that it borrowed the money for these facilities.

She claimed that the silos found are located on her property, which is a property that she inherited from her ancestors. She also stated that she was interested in obtaining a building permit from the municipality to place them, but they told her that they would not grant a permit, as ownership documents are needed to benefit and she does not have ownership documents, but has inherited the property from generation to generation.

She also states that to her knowledge, there is no need to obtain a permit for buildings that have no foundations or concrete. The elderly woman further states that she borrowed the money for the construction of these silos from her relatives, and that she had about 300 heads of cattle in Dukagjin, but since she had no shepherd to take care of them, she sold them all.

These silos have been publicly denounced today by Prime Minister Edi Rama, who says that this illegality is at the expense of the residents of the tourist village.

Rama added that the Ministry of Justice will file a complaint with the KLP against the prosecutor in the case, Elsa Gjeli, for not initiating investigations and suspending this case./ Top Channel
