All the accused for the "Sterilization" file have finished their hearings, where most of them have requested a summary trial.
It is learned that SPAK is asking for the division of the case, where former minister Ilir Beqja, former deputy minister Klodian Rjepaj and businessman Ilir Rrapaj will be tried together, while those who requested a shortened trial will be tried separately.
According to the journalist of " Top Channel ", Anila Hoxha, this move may lead to the sending of the latter to the Court of Tirana. It is learned that SPAK has asked the preliminary judge that the members of the evaluation commission divide the case for them and go to Tirana for trial.
Beqaj, Rrjepaj and Rrapaj should be kept here to be tried on the merits, said the prosecutor here at GJKKO.
Only the former Minister of Health did not request a trial, as did Klodian Rrjepaj. The other seven defendants sought summary judgment.
" There is no need for an expert report. We have no comment on the claims that two or three charges have been filed for the same fact. The issue can be resolved with the state that the acts are. Accept the summary judgment and divide the case for the commission and go to the Tirana court. Let the trial at GJKKO continue for Ilir Beqaj ", the prosecutor is said to have said.
