Analyst Skënder Minxhozi stated that former Prime Minister Sali Berisha is one of the politicians who in these 30 years has tried to escape justice and any responsibility related to the position.
In an interview for "Newsline", on ABC, he said that Berisha seeks to close concrete accusations with popular self-judgment, calling the party to line up, as he added that his last legal drama is currently being played, but without spectators.
" We are facing a rare case, when Sali Berisha escapes from justice. In these 30 years, he has avoided the responsibilities related to the post more than anyone else. He is the most famous public figure of the transition. Even now, he is giving the example of a politician who knows neither justice reform, nor the rules of the game, nor the criminal code, nor the court. He seeks to close concrete accusations with popular self-judgment, calling the party to line, now we are seeing how his latest legal drama is being played without spectators. We are faced with a case where a high official, instead of setting an example of how a citizen should go before justice to clean himself up, but he wants to clean himself up with self-judgment. But the rules of the game in a society like ours are not dealt with while staying in the apartment, but only in court" , said Minxhozi, among other things.
