"Justice in Albania, a game of statistics", Minxhozi criticizes SPAK:

Analyst Skënder Minxhozi has expressed concern about the way justice is being developed in Albania, describing it as a "game of statistics" and a slow and bureaucratic system.

Minxhozi stated that, in the case of the accusations against Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj and former President Ilir Meta, justice seems to be becoming increasingly personal and has lost focus from the correct accusation.

He also criticized the lack of progress in the investigation into the January 21 incident, stressing that it is a shame that, six years after the establishment of SPAK, this issue has still not been properly addressed in court. Minxhozi described the current justice system as bureaucratic and inadequate to address issues important to society.

"I have the impression that justice is turning to a statistics game with Veliaj and Meta taken hostage without charges. How can you imprison the other in February and communicate the charges at the end. Veliaj's case is a completely out-of-the-box stance and it seems to have become a personal thing. I don't think America would make these cases better or not, it simply pushes the processes forward.

The new justice, the greatest historical and a moral obligation towards Albanians, would have the bloody files, which it still continues to ignore. It is a shame that after 6 years of SPAK, we have no point on the horizon for January 21 and we have no sign of when this case will go to trial. We do not know when the witnesses will be called and when it will go to trial. It is a bureaucratic justice , "said analyst Minxhozi on the "Real Story" show on ABC News.
