The professor of criminology, Ervin Karamuço, says that Durim Bami has been released from the cell in Dubai and the same procedure can be followed for him as for Plarent Dervishaj and Julian Meçe.
In an interview for "Newsline" on ABC News, Karamuço said that Dubai is no longer a safe haven for underworld characters. According to Karamuço, many of them are moving towards Turkey.
" As far as I know, he has been released from his cell, there is a security measure, meanwhile and if the same procedure is followed, we will have several planes with high-risk persons coming from Dubai in the direction of Albanian prisons with these character types. For them, Dubai is no longer a safe haven and I know that some of them have taken measures and are moving in the direction of other countries, why not in Turkey, where they have also found illegal shelters, because they now understand that Dubai is not it is the safest haven. That's how urgent the situation has become.
We have seen several exponents of organized crime, very powerful, who have been sheltering for years, and even their families have moved them to Turkey. There are some areas in Turkey where you can go and hide, but even there you are safe, because our cooperation with the Turkish police has been very successful during these years ", he emphasized.
