Journalist Sokol Demaj spoke about the murder of businessman Eduard Reçi in Tirana. He gave details about the event, saying that the businessman was killed while entering his apartment in front of the Faculty of History and Philology.
Journalist Dema says that there are doubts that the shooter was on an upper floor of a building adjacent to the building where Reçi had his apartment. He added that it appears that the killing was carried out by professionals.
"It was the moment he was going to the apartment. From what the sources say, the bullet is in the back of the right ear, which creates the impression that the shooter may have been next to his palace. It may have been fired from there, but this has not yet been confirmed. It's a well-organized assassination considering the way the perpetrator got away without leaving a trace. A well-organized assassination and difficulties are being encountered to lead to an identification. It seems that we are dealing with professional people who committed it", said journalist Dema on Report TV.
Regarding the way the assassination was organized, from which there is no trace of the author and it was not even filmed by the camera, the journalist Dema says that we are dealing with a hired killer. According to the journalist, this event has broken every barrier after 24 hours have passed and not only that we are far from identifying and catching the perpetrators.
"The efficiency and the way it was hit, I think they will be tired to investigate and find evidence to accuse specific people. We are used to having a scheme in criminal events, pouring a large number of bullets, leaving the perpetrators and burning the vehicle. We are not dealing with this scheme here, it has broken every barrier, when 24 hours have passed, not only are we too far for identification, but there is a shadow, the perpetrators are not visible. There is security camera footage that shows the 52-year-old man walking, a gunshot and falling to the ground. There is no view to understand where it is. There are doubts that it was shot from an upper floor of a high-rise building. But it is still not understood from where it was shot. It's not a sniper, it's a bullet that entered and exited the 52-year-old's head. It did not cause damage like a sniper's bullet would do", said Dema.
