Former Polish MEP Ryszard Czarnecki has been arrested by the local police, together with his wife, after being accused of corruption. For Albania, it is not very important, but his name became known because he is among the people who went to Sali Berisha's apartment. Ryszard Czarnecki himself made a status on social networks, where he stated that he had met Berisha, who had welcomed him with cake and brandy, even though he was under house arrest.
" I am in the apartment of the former president and former prime minister of Albania, Sali Berisha, and I am hearing about "drug abuse". Yes, he is talking about his homeland. He talks extensively about the "cannabization" of Albania, i.e. the mass cultivation of marijuana promoted by the country's left-wing authorities. It is a source of great income, although, as my interlocutor points out, it does not benefit the state, but private individuals.
