The Ministry of Education has published the official calendar for the 2026-2027 school year, which sets out the main dates of the teaching process, including the start and end of the school year, vacation periods, and national exam deadlines.
According to the document, students will return to schools on September 14, 2026, marking the start of the new academic year after the summer holidays.
For high school graduates, classes will end on June 4, 2027, to allow time for preparation and conduct of the State Matura Exams.
While for students in other grades, the last day of the learning process has been set for June 18, 2027.
The calendar published by the Ministry of Education also provides for vacation periods during the school year, as well as the organization of national exams according to the established deadlines.
