
After opening as an air base serving as a tactical center for NATO in March 2024, the Military Base in Kuçova will undergo further investments. The Centralized Purchasing Operator has announced the opening of the competition for the improvement of the infrastructure, especially in the hangar of the base. The estimated limit fund is 10 million and 985 thousand lek.
Referring to the document at the Public Procurement Agency, the project includes a series of interventions, in the construction of electrical infrastructure, telecommunications infrastructure through optical fiber, and the plan-placement of street lights is foreseen.
An important element of the project is the construction of a new electrical cabin, which will be supplied with 20 kV medium voltage, in order to guarantee the operation of electrical equipment throughout the campus.
The design of the network for electrical systems has been designed in full compliance with the organization of common areas, mobility within the campus, the placement of outdoor facilities and spaces, including sports fields and associated facilities. This project is expected to significantly modernize the air infrastructure in Kuçova, bringing it closer to contemporary standards in safety and technology, writes A2 CNN.
According to the document, it is also planned to create an external water supply network, which will be carried out through the existing main pipeline of the Dimal Municipality.
During implementation, the use of certified products and materials, which are in line with European Union standards, is envisaged, in order to guarantee a functional, modern and safe building, the document states. / A2CNN
